He was born July 18, 1940 in Batavia, NY, son of the late Francis and Arline Staebell Schumacher

Tom was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving his country from 1957-1960. He was employed by Strippit in Akron for over 45 years prior to his retirement. Tom enjoyed woodworking and over the years made over 50 jewelry boxes for family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren who will have many memories of him roller blading, camping and spending special times with them.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon Lederhouse Schumacher of Akron. Children, Wayne (Cheri) Schumacher of Akron, Pebbles (Michael) Hess of North Carolina, Paul (Michelle) Schumacher of Florida, Katherine (Charles) Turner of Alden, Andrea (Ron) Dawydko of Akron and Angela (William) Earle of Akron. Siblings, Francis (Norma) Schumacher of Akron, John (Karen) Schumacher of Akron, Teresa (Richard) Warner of Akron, Joseph (Cheryl) Schumacher of Cheektowaga and Anthony (Mary Jo) Schumacher of Akron. Also survived by son in-law, Brian Blakeslee, 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Darlene Blakeslee and brother of the late Marie Schumacher.

Mrs. Caselli owned and operated South Park Nurseries in Hamburg with her husband Dante. She worked for many years at Darien Lake Theme Park.

Batavia - Julieanne George, age 59, of Batavia passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

Julieanne was born Saturday, September 23, 1961 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Jerome J. George and Doris M. Keem George.

Julieannne's family wishes to extend special thanks to the ICU at United Memorial Medical Center and to Tina Winters and her staff at the Ellicott Street Road and Ross Street group homes.

She is survived by her sisters;  Janet (late Thomas) Dwyer and Patricia (John Colagrande) Matla; her sister-in-law, Teresa George;  her nieces and nephews; Dennis Dwyer, Colleen (Patrick) Donegan, Lisa (Todd) Lenhart, Susan (Christopher) Schukin, Margaret (Scott) Niedzwiecki, Kathleen Dwyer, Carolyn (Stephen) Babcock, Brian Dwyer, Nina (Tony) White and Jerome P. George along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. 

She is predeceased by her brother, John George.

Leslie D. Wotherspoon, 85, of Darien, NY passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020 at the United Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Buffalo on March 29, 1935 to the late David and Katherine (Neidermeyer) Wotherspoon. In addition to his parents, Leslie is predeceased by a brother; Clark Wotherspoon and sister, Janet Holmes.

After serving in the Naval Reserves, Leslie opened an auto shop in Buffalo. He moved to a career in real estate and became an owner of L.A. Grant Realty. Leslie enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and hunting.

He is survived by his daughter; Kim (Jason) Long of Corfu; a granddaughter Norah Long.

Shirley was born October 22, 1934 in Alabama, a daughter of the late Burdett and Lillian (Wagner) Newton.

A founding and active member of the Alabama Full Gospel Fellowship, Shirley loved being with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Everett Scofield; daughters, Deborah (Greg) Smart of Marysville, PA, Lori (Fred) Aquina of Batavia and Sandra Smart of Alabama; a sister, Janice (late Leo) Snyder of Alabama; grandchildren, Hillary (Nicholas) Amici, Jacob Smart, Joel Hiscutt, Danielle Hiscutt, Lydia Aquina, Tiffanie (Dave) Amerine, Haven Smart, Tucker (Tara) Smart and Corde Smart; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alexander, Aurora, Elija, Josiah, Bentley and Colton and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her sisters, Eleanor Goldsmith and Geraldine Hawley.

A private service will be held for immediate family with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.  Shirley will be laid to rest in Alabama Cemetery.

Dale A. Krawczyk, 69 of Attica, was peacefully welcomed into heaven on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born April 24, 1951 in Buffalo, to the late Herman (Rita Witczak) Krawczyk.

Mr. Krawczyk retired as a Sargent from Wyoming Correctional Facility.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Jane (Hamill) Krawczyk of Attica, brothers Brian (Carin) Krawczyk and Darren (Christine) Krawczyk; sister-in-law Cheryl Peplin; brothers-in-law Ed Jr., Jerry, Duane, Tim, Russell and Jay Hamill; along with many nieces and nephews.

Oakfield - Robert A.  Gerould, age 86, of Oakfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.

Mr. Gerould was born November 12th, 1934 in Batavia, a son of the late Gordon Gerould and Florence George Gerould.

Mr. Gerould retired from Graham Manufacturing in 2000. An avid bowler, his family camped at the Conesus Lake Campground for 54 years.

His wife, Karol Nye Gerould, passed away in 2008.

Surviving are four sons; Richard Gerould of Allegany County, David Gerould of Oakfield, Michael Gerould of Oakfield and  Jeff (Sherry) Gerould of Pembroke; four grandchildren; Jessica Gerould, Stephanie Gerould, Chad Gerould and Amanda Gerould; three great-grandchildren; Katelyn, Erica and Emily Gerould; his sister; JoAnn Hyde of Florida; his brother; Edward Gerould along with several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brother, David Gerould.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Samantha Ann Mangas on Saturday November 21, 2020, at the age of 54 years.  She passed peacefully with her brother, Matthew, by her side and her mother and siblings on the phone.

She will be lovingly remembered by her Mother, Olive Larson, Her siblings: Doug Mangas, Debbie Williams, Lisa Gershenson, Jessica Jaeger, Matthew Mangas, Jim Mangas, and Rachel Moniz, and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews

She will also be dearly missed by, Tammy Stremovihtg and her dear friends, family, and caretakers at her Maple Avenue home.

She was predeceased by her loving sister Jennifer Mangas, her father Kenneth Mangas, Rocky Moniz, Kristen Malec-Mangas (nee Struzyk) and Richard Larkin.

Samantha Mangas was born in Wheaton, IL to Olive & Kenneth Mangas on November 1st, 1966. Born developmentally disabled, her family and friends seldom saw her limitations.  She could smile. She could laugh. She could love without condition. She could even drink more coffee than her Brother Matt.  Through her challenges, she gave us the gift of perspective and she taught us kindness and patience.

A private visitation at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home will be on December 1st, 2020.  Samantha will be laid to rest with her Grandparents at Glenwood Cemetery in Geneva NY.

Anna Will Marciniak, age 98, of the Town of Barre, entered into rest at the Crossroads House of Batavia on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 with her loving family at her side.

Born on September 28, 1922 in Medina, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Benderwicz) Satkowski. Anna was a graduate of Medina High School class of 1940. She married the late Peter J. Will of Oakfield on June 20, 1941 and worked on their family farm on Ham Road in Oakfield. They produced cash crops, milk, broilers, turkeys and eggs. Her husband, Peter sadly died on July 10, 1967, 26 years later. She then worked at the Genesee Farms Bakery in Oakfield for many years. Anna enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, hummingbirds, playing on her kindle and cards. She married the late Martin B. Marciniak on April 23, 1977. She was a parishioner of the former St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Wheatville and upon its closure became a parishioner of St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecelia’s Church in Oakfield.

Survivors include her three children, Peter J. (Judith) Will of Bellview, FL, Robert (Carol) Will of Oakfield and JoAnn (Dan) Haas of Oakfield; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (late Leon) Simbida; brother, Richard (Barbara) Satkowski; also several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents and first husband, Peter Will, Sr., she was predeceased by her second husband, Martin Marciniak in 2016; brothers, Anthony (Emma) Satkowski and Ben (Anna) Satkowski; and sisters, Valeria (John) Byledba and Helen (Joseph) Witkor.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thaddeus Bocianowski on Monday, Nov. 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecelia’s Church, 56 Maple Ave., Oakfield. Interment in St. Cecelia’s Cemetery. Mr. Taylor was born October 14, 1957 in Medina, a son of the late Edison Taylor and Luella (Reese) Taylor.

Roy was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Medina.  He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, gardening, and fishing.  He deeply loved his children and grandchildren. .  

He is survived by his significant other Kim Nesbitt of Batavia; sons, Roy Lee Albert (Lesley Wood) Taylor of Batavia, Timothy (Ruth Simmons) Taylor of Rochester, and Derrek (Jennifer Ruble) Taylor of LeRoy; step-children, Stephanie (Ron Lambright) Parsons of Florida, Steven Nesbitt of Batavia, and Scott Nesbitt of Arizona; a grandson, Perry Taylor; step-grandchildren, Christopher Nesbitt, Bianca Parsons, Sadie and Abigail Nesbitt, Kianna and Anthony Nesbitt, and Ben Lambright; brothers, Larry, Ricky, and Michael Taylor; sisters, Valerie Munroe, and Sandra Carroll.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Roy is preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie, Kenny, and Johnny Taylor.

Caroline was born March 20,1946 in Gowanda, a daughter of the late Clyde and Lucy (Garrow) Cole.

She was viewed by her children as an angel and the epitome of unconditional love, anyone who met her were grateful and blessed to have known her.

Surviving are her children, Johnie Bianchi, Jr. of Bergen, Clyde (Kelly) Bianchi of Bergen and Bianca Bianchi of Bloomfield; a brother, Charles (Lavon) Cole of Idaho; a sister, Cassie (Tony) Celone of Florida; grandchildren, Justin Gilbert, Brianna Amesbury, Kaylee Amesbury, Courtney (Kajin) Yost, Kaitlyn Amesbury, Cyla Steger and Chaz Bianchi; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Nichols and her brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held throughout the day and evening on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 at Caroline's home, located at 6687 North Lake Road in Bergen.  Caroline's funeral service will be held privately and she will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport.

Bergen - James Warren Palmer, 92 of Bergen, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, (November 19, 2020) in Spencerport.

Mr. Palmer was born December 28, 1927 in Deposit, New York a son of the late Elmer S. Palmer and Katheryn (Middaugh) Palmer.

James was a life-long truck driver and enjoyed traveling with his wife.  He enjoyed the friendships he made during his daily trips to the Bergen Farm Market Family Restaurant.  

James is the husband of the late Barbara Palmer who passed away July 13, 2020. The two were married June 27, 1953 in Christ Episcopal Church in Deposit.  

Surviving are his son, Robert B. Palmer and his children, Jason (Gina) Palmer and Robyn Palmer; son, Richard W. (Patricia) Palmer and their children, Jessica (Shawn) McAlister and Katheryn Palmer; great grandchildren,  Liam, Owen, Abigail, Collin, and Gabriella; a brother, George (Betty) Palmer; and his sweet canine companion, Precious.  

He is preceded in death by a son, James W. Palmer, Jr., and siblings,  Isabelle, Abby, Charles, Ralph, Ruth, Lorena, and Albert.

Mr. Marcello worked many years at GTE Sylvania, RE Chapin and Batavia Downs Harness Racing until retiring in 2000. He was a WWII and Korean War Veteran, he proudly served in the Merchant Marines, US Air Force and US Army. Mr. Marcello enjoyed hunting, playing horseshoes and sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and a good book. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees and especially Notre Dame Football.

Surviving is his wife of 69 years Frances (Colantonio) Marcello of Batavia, children, Joseph G. (Denise) Marcello of Hattiesburg, MS, Mark P. (Roni) Marcello, Phillip J. (Kim) Marcello, Ava M. (Ronald) King, Lori A. (Robert) Waite, loving sister Elizabeth Kinne, sister-in-law Carmella Ilacqua all of Batavia, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mesa, Arizona - Eric  Anthony  Easton, 37 of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Basom, New York, passed away most tragically on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.

Eric was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and riding his dirtbike.

Surviving along with his parents are his brother; Shawn (Nicole) Easton of Byron; his niece; Whitley Easton of Byron; his grandfather; Wilbur (late Julia) Easton of Oakfield; several aunts and uncles including Kathleen Corbelli of Mesa, Arizona with whom Eric was living with. Eric is also survived by several cousins.

There are no prior visiting hours. Eric's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish-Oakfield Worship Site, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. Burial will follow Mass in St. Cecilia's Cemetery,Oakfield.
