Upon graduating from Corfu High School in 1960, Nancy went on to attend Syracuse University and later marry Richard M. “Rich” Ameigh. Together they shared 51 years of happiness watching their family blossom. Nancy was a devoted wife, wonderful mother to Matthew M. Ameigh (Lisa), and Elizabeth A. Ameigh, fantastic grandma to Cameron and Charlotte, sister to Arthur Koert, an Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Russell Koert Jr., Sylvia (Koert) Cecere, and Kathleen (Koert) Trader. She will be greatly missed by all who love her.

Nancy dedicated her life to being the best mom and grandma and her family was her greatest joy. In her free time, she loved her artwork, baking her signature chocolate chip cookies and volunteering. She was an active member of the Audubon Women’s Club for over 40 years.

Pavilion ~ Virginia E. “Ginny” Fagan, age 90, formerly of Hartwell Road, passed away on Monday (Oct. 17, 2022) at the Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home in Clarence.

     Ginny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to many.  She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and travelling with her husband, Richard.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Richard; son, Gerald (Marianna) Fagan; grandchildren, Alexis Czaja, Melissa (Jonathan) McPoland and Joshua (Mackenna) Fagan; great-grandchildren, Jeannelle MacPherson, Skylar Fronczak, Benjamin Fronczak, Johnathan Licata, Brayden McPoland and Declan Fagan; sisters, Rose Anchor and Shirley (Les) Burling; sister-in-law, Barbara Edwards, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.

     She was predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Gartlan; brother, Ernest Edwards; grandson, Phillip Czaja and brother-in-law, Edward Anchor.

LeRoy ~  Marv Roblee, age 76, of Linwood Road, passed away Sunday afternoon (Oct. 16, 2022) at home surrounded by his loving family.

     Marv will be remembered as loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.  His love of family and community was evident as you could always find him in the stands cheering on his girls or coaching youth football, baseball and softball.  He was a proud US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and Northwoods Sportsman Club.  He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved the outdoors.

     He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharron Uberty Roblee; son, David (Bridget) Uberty; daughter, Kimberlee (Daniel) Mackey; his 5 beautiful granddaughters, Courtney (Eric) Hyde, Allison Uberty, Emma-Kate Uberty, Jamie (Spencer) Thomas and Lily Uberty; step-grandchildren, Dylan and Peyton Mackey; sister, Judy Roblee, Barbara (Thomas) Gillen, Yvonne (Michael) Moore; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Roblee and Charlotte Uberty; brother-in-law, Robert (Pat) Uberty; dear friend, Duncan MacKenzie, along with many loving nieces, nephews and grand-fur babies.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Violet and Joseph Uberty; his brothers, Larry and Darrell Roblee; sisters, Janice Roblee, Annette (Richard) Nelan and Sharon (Sam) Nuciola; brother-in-law, Ronald Uberty and sister-in-law, Sandy Uberty.

He had an older brother William (Billy) who lovingly nicknamed Bobbie “Popcorn”. Being born mentally challenged, Bobbie with the help from teachers and classmates was able to attend Attica Elementary school until the 8th grade. Despite his handicap, Bobbie held down a job at ARC-Batavia, NY for a number of years. He was so proud of his job which entailed sweeping floors, emptying waste baskets and placing cotton in jewelry boxes. As soon as he got his paycheck, he was off to visit and drink coffee at the local Ben Go’s gas station. There is something to be said about the saying “it takes a village to raise a child” because that is exactly what the village of Attica did.

Everyone that knew Bobbie and his brother Billy lovely watched over them. Bobbie waited patiently every year for the village parades and the annual Attica Rodeo where he would dress up like a cowboy along with his lifelong rodeo pass (thank you David Wheeler) would pretend he was a rodeo clown and or riding the Brahma bulls. A thank you needs to go out to Ted Harding for taking Bobbie Christmas shopping and pizza every-year, how Bobbie loved giving gifts to others. Also a special thanks goes out to Maggie Dadd for making Bobbies father's request come true, for finding a family willing to take care of Bobbie so that he wouldn't have to live out his life in a nursing home.

Bobbie's father’s wish was granted with the help of Maggie as Bobbie had 37 years staying with three families; 12 years with Lillian Blujus, 5 years with Barbra Snyder, and lastly, 17 years with Dana and Linda Blujus. He also had special Love-&-Care given to him from Tom and Donna Basso, John and Cheryl Goodridge, Matt and Brittany Klingler, Ben and Rachel Cerasani plus many others too numerous to mention.

I wish everyone could see the world through Bobbie’s eyes; this world would be a much better and beautiful place. Until we meet again Bobbie, every time I hear Let's Go Bills, I'll think of you...

Cheryl graduated from Oakfield-Alabama and later went on to work at the US Gypsum for 30 plus years and another 15 years at Ed Arnold Scrap and Recycling. She loved crafting with her friends, baking, and always looked forward to lunches with past co-workers whom she thought of as family. Her grandsons Garrett, Tyson, Kyler, and Bryce were the love of her life and always made her days brighter. She wore her “Grandma Bear” title proud.

She is predeceased by her brother Lee Hall. Cheryl is survived by her son Jamie (Jaime) Totten, and daughter Jill Harkness (Jeff) both of Corfu, NY. Her sister Darlene (Gary) Anderson and brother Lynn Hall. She had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews as well.

She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and will be missed dearly.

Mark was the hardest worker you could find.  He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He enjoyed spending time in the woods and raising his cows and pigs.  His favorite times were spent hanging out with his family, playing games with his grandkids and taking his dog, Dixie, for rides.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Donna (Sondericker) Kohlhagen, daughters, Jill (Dustin) Brown of Arcade, Cassie (Nicholas) Furr of Bennington, Rachel (William) Kelly of Lancaster, son Nicholas (Courtney) of Bennington, brother Kurt Kohlhagen of Bennington, grandchildren Tucker, Dylan, Ella, Blake, Harper, Taylor, Coleson, Kylee and Peyton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was born Monday, March 7th, 1983 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky a son of Wilmer F. Stapleton Sr. and Sandra L. French Stapleton of Attica.

Wilmer loved all sports, fishing and listening to music. A fantastic cook, he enjoyed watching cooking shows on television. His family meant the world to him.

Surviving along with his parents are his wife, Rebecca R. Reilly-Stapleton; his sons, Lincoln Wyatt Stapleton-Reilly and Hudson Cole Stapleton-Reilly; his brother, Eric W. Stapleton; his niece,  Gianna Stapleton; paternal grandmother, Sarah Stapleton along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Geraldine was a homemaker who loved to go play bingo and watching soap operas. Her biggest joy was her family, raising her seven children, spoiling her sixteen grandchildren and pampering her dogs, family was the biggest part of her life.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Ruby Caudill of Batavia, Dorsy Caudill of Leicester, Claudia Caudill of Nunda and Abby Dueppengiesser of Perry, 3 sons: Norman (Debbie) Caudill of Wethersfield, Cleven (Theresa) Caudill of Perry, David (Cathy) Caudill of Perry, 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchild, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Geraldine will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.

Larry went to Elma School #3 on Jamison Road from 1940 to 1947, he then attended East Aurora High School from 1947 to 1953. Her proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and was stationed in Germany, where he met his wife Joan. They lived on the family farm until 1962 when Larry and Joan bought a farm and moved to Darien. He also worked for Texaco Oil Company from 1957 to 1981.

He is survived by dear friend, Judy Wilder, sister-in-law, Alberta “Boots” Bray along with several nieces and nephews.

He was born March 5, 1956 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Robert and Laura Lanthier Cashmore.

Chris was employed as a purchasing manager by Filtration Unlimited in Akron for 35 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, attending concerts, hot air balloon rides, playing hockey and softball. He was known to his daughters as the best soccer dad a daughter could ever have. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.

He was the husband of the late Patricia Cashmore who passed away in 2020 and brother of the late Charles Cashmore.

Chris is survived by his loving daughters, Courtney (Andrew) Clouse and Ali (Anthony Scinta) Cashmore. Grandchildren, Austin and Evan Clouse and Kira Scinta. Brother, Curtis (Janis) Cashmore. Companion, Kathleen Herle McCarthy. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Born to the late Fred & Evelyn (Mietz) Winters of Middleport, NY. Elaine spent her life in two of the most demanding and rewarding careers, agriculture and nursing. Having deep roots in her family farm operated by her widowed Mother, Elaine left the farm at 18 and went on to pursue a nursing career. She was graduate of St. Jerome School of Nursing. She worked most of career at St. Jerome Hospital and the VAMC. The grit and resilience she was known for on the farm helped her thrive in her over 70 year career as a Registered Nurse. Elaine is best remembered for her faith in God, being an excellent gardener, seamstress and cook. Her home was constantly filled with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick Tibbs Jr., daughter Mary “Dietze” Rowcliffe, grandson, James Royal, and son-in-law Robert Dempsey. Her brothers, Arthur (Jean) Winters, Raymond Winters, Norman (Connie) Winters, John Winters, and sisters Margaret (Jack) Ryan, and Charlotte Stein.
 
She is survived by her brother, Darvin (Dorothy) Winters of Gasport, 5 children: Margaret (late Robert) Dempsey of Stafford, Jim (Kim) Tibbs of Texas, Rich (Cathy) Tibbs of Batavia, Besty (Mike) Royal of Maryland, Tom (Lisa) Tibbs of Middleport, and son-in-law Garth (late Dietze) Rowcliffe of Elba. Grandchildren; Robert (Mandy) Dempsey, Heidi Dempsey, Ryan (Sam) Dempsey, Megan (Andrew) Brown, Alexandra (Adam) Harrington, Ryleigh (Garth) Hinkson, Sarah Tibbs, Thomas Tibbs, James Tibbs, Nick (Sarah) Tibbs, Kaitlyn (Connor) Adcock, and Joseph Royal. Along with 15 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
